Carlow
Rural Information Services Project consists of a network of computer
training and access centres located throughout County Carlow which
aim to provide under-served populations in rural and urban communities
with low cost information technology resources.
The
project aims to provide every citizen of County Carlow with access
to ICT resources, either through its centres or by the various outreach
programmes it arranges in partnership with local and national agencies.
CRISP
Centre's are located in Borris, Tullow, Hacketstown, Carlow town
and Ballon, and a mobile training laptop suite, which is available
across the county. The project is supported by Carlow Local Authorities
and a Pobal Community Services Programme. |
