Carlow
Rural Information Services Project consists of a network of computer training
and access centres located throughout County Carlow which aim to provide
under-served populations in rural and urban communities with low cost
information technology resources.
The
project aims to provide every citizen of County Carlow with access to
ICT resources, either through its centres or by the various outreach programmes
it arranges in partnership with local and national agencies.
CRISP
Centre's are located in Borris, Myshall, Tullow, Hacketstown, Carlow town
and Ballon, with a Wheelchair Accessible Computer Terminal located in
Leighlinbridge. The project is supported by Carlow Local Authorities and
a Pobal Community Services Programme. |
